Upham’s Corner Health Center’s Dental & Eye Care Clinics Celebrate Re-opening With Ribbon-cutting Ceremony
After months of construction crews bustling throughout the building and staff preparing for patient return, Upham’s Corner Health Center’s Dental & Eye Care Clinics hosted its much-anticipated ribbon-cutting celebration.
While attendees looked on, long-time staff member Rose Dias joined CEO Jay Trivedi, Board of Directors Chairwoman Margaret Leahy Wirth, and Boston City Councilor Frank Baker in the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon to officially re-open the clinic.
As part of his remarks, CEO Jay Trivedi said, “The Dental and Eye Care Clinics have been here since 1988, and this is the first major overhaul of the space since then. Our goal was to expand the scope of care services we are able to offer, and to really making sure we did it right. We are now in a position to showcase this space and, more importantly, better serve our patients, neighbors, and community members.”
The renovated, state-of-the-art facility at 636 Columbia Road offers a wide range of comprehensive dental and eye care services for children and adults, and its clinicians and staff are committed to helping all patients make the connection between oral and vision health and overall health.
