UCHC Receives Grant

UCHC was awarded the Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley’s 2018 Community Reinvestment Grant to support our Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) Initiative.  With these funds, our goal is to expand upon our annual events aimed at connecting youth to positive out-of-school-time activities throughout the year: the annual job readiness workshops held in partnership with local schools, the annual Back to School event, and the Summer Physical Activity Program.  The funding will enable us to provide more youth with school supplies and job readiness materials.
