Good news for families with students in the Boston Public Schools! The Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) program is getting additional funding.
If your school aged child is eligible for Free and Reduced lunch (all BPS students are eligible), you will receive additional funds through the end of the 2020-21 school year (June 2021). Students in the hybrid model will receive $58.60/month and fully remote learning students will receive $117.20/month.
If you use the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the additional funds will be added directly to your EBT card. If you do not use SNAP, your benefits will be added to the white P-EBT card you received previously. Please use these funds to ensure the funding continues for our community.
Visit https://www.mass.gov/info-details/pandemic-ebt-p-ebt for more information about how to check your eligibility or balance, if you need a new card, or if you are having trouble activating your card.
If you need additional help, please ask to speak to a Upham’s community health advocate or the pediatric dietitian at the main health center at 415 Columbia Road or 617-287-8000.
